On November 4, 2023, George Gagnidze will make his Atlanta Opera debut as Rigoletto, in a production by Tomer Zvulun and under the musical production of Roberto Kalb. He will share the stage with Jasmine Habersham as Gilda, Won Whi Choi as Duca di Mantova, Patrick Guelfi as Sparafucile and Olivia Vote as Maddalena. There will be three additional performances on November 7, 10, 12, 2023.

The Georgian baritone has performed the role of Rigoletto in over 100 performances in the most prestigious international opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Opéra de Paris, Los Angeles Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Aix-en-Provence Festival.

Last season he appeared in this same Tomer Zvulun production when it premiered at the Dallas Opera.
