On June 14, 2023, Katrin Wundsam makes her role debut as Fricka in Das Rheingold at the Dresden Music Festival in a concert performance led by Kent Nagano. She will sing alongside Derek Welton as Wotan, Mauro Peter as Loge, Daniel Schmutzhard as Alberich, Dominik Köninger as Donner, Nadja Mchantaf as Freja and Gerhild Romberger, among others.

Richard Wagner will remain a constant feature and at the core of Katrin Wundsam’s repertoire also in the coming season when she will appear at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden not only as Fricka in Das Rheingold and Die Walküre, but also as Venus in Tannhäuser.
