On April 6, 2023, Katrin Wundsam makes her Tokyo Spring Festival as Magdalene in a concert performance of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg under the musical direction of Marek Janowski leading the NHK Symphony Orchestra. She will sing alongside Egils Silins as Hans Sachs, Johanni Van Oostrum as Eva, David Butt Philip as Walther von Stolzing, Adrian Eröd as Beckmesser, Daniel Behle as David, and Andreas Bauer Kanabas as Pogner, among others. There will be a repeat performance on April 9.

The Austrian mezzo-soprano has very recently received rave reviews for her virtually unprecedented feat of singing both the roles of Ježibaba and the Foreign Princess in Rusalka at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden.

Katrin Wundsam next travels to Düsseldorf for a Mozart Requiem and to the Theater an der Wien for the two roles of the Garderobiere / Gymnasiast in Lulu.
