On June 13, 2019 Leonardo Caimi will sing Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly at the Teatro Villamarta in Jerez, in a new production by director Pablo Viar. Daniel Gil de Tenada will conduct. Caimi will appear alongside Maribel Ortega, José Antonio López, and Marifé Nogales, among others. There will be one further performance, on June 15, 2019.

Caimi has been heard as Pinkerton in productions with the Sugi Opera Company Seoul, at La Monnaie in Brussels, the Puccini Festival, and the Konzert Theater Bern. It will be his debut at the Teatro Villamarta.

After these performances, Caimi’s future engagements include Des Grieux (Manon) at the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, Don José (Carmen) at Oper Leipzig, and Calaf (Turandot) at Oper Köln.
