On October 27, 2022, Matteo Beltrami will conduct La traviata at the Oper Graz, in a production by Peter Konwitschny. The cast includes Heather Engebretson as Violetta Valery, Alexey Neklyudov as Alfredo Germont and James Rutherford as Giorgio Germont. There will be additional performances on October 27; November 3, 10, 16 and 19, 2022.

The Genoa born conductor, who has conducted La traviata more frequently than any other operas, made his widely acclaimed Oper Graz debut with La forza del destino in September 2021.

After this Traviata, he will make his debut at the Oper Köln leading a new staging of La Cenerentola.
