On May 4 2023, Pietari Inkinen conducts his own Deutsche Radio Philharmonie in a concert at the SWR Studio Kaiserslautern featuring Franz Lizst’s Piano Concert in A Major, S 125, where is joined by pianist Rafał Blechacz, and Béla Bartók’s Music for Strings, Percussion, and Celesta. The following day he leads the DRP at the Großer Sendesaal in Saarbrücken with the same program and soloist, with the addition of György Ligeti’s Six Bagatelles for Wind Quintet.

On May 14, the Finnish conductor leads the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie at the Alte Schmelz St. Ingbert, in an all Bedřich Smetana program consisting of “Má vlast” (My Fatherland), cycle of six symphonic poems for orchestra.
