SONYA YONCHEVA | CONCERT | CARACAS

On April 6, 2024, Sonya Yoncheva will make her debut in the native country of her husband, Venezuela, with a concert at the Teatro Teresa Carrano in Caracas conducted by Domingo Hindoyan himself. The fascinating program that includes music by Richard Wagner (Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde, Overture to Tannhäuser, “Dich, Teure Halle” from Tannhäuser), Antonín Dvořák’s “Song to the Moon” from Rusalka, Giuseppe Verdi’s “Pace, pace mio Dio” from La forza del destino, while the second part is entirely devoted to Giacomo Puccini: “La Tregenda” and “Se come voi piccina” from Le Villi, “Un bel dì vedremo” from Madama Butterfly, “O mio babbino caro” from Gianni Schicchi, and “Vissi d’arte” from Tosca.

Sonya Yoncheva and Domingo Hindoyan will soon join forces again on May 25 to celebrate Puccini’s music with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
