On June 23, 2019 Sonya Yoncheva will participate in the Rolex Ambassadors Gala at the Teatro alla Scala, singing with the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Plácido Domingo and Gustavo Dudamel. The evening will also feature pianist Yuja Wang and tenors Juan Diego Flórez and Jonas Kaufmann. The event will be live streamed on medici.tv at 8pm Central European Time.

Ms. Yoncheva’s program for this prestigious event will include duets and arias. She will sing “Va! Je t’ai pardonné” from Roméo et Juliette with Juan Diego Flórez, “Già nella notte densa” from Otello with Jonas Kaufmann, and “Vissi d’arte” from Tosca.

Following this performance, Ms. Yoncheva will appear in recital at the Teatro Real in Madrid, as well as in a gala concert with the company of the Teatro alla Scala at the Savonlinna Opera Festival in July.
