On January 21, 2023, Vincenzo Milletarì will conduct La bohème at the Göteborgs Operan, in a production by Max Webster. The cast includes Ida Falk Winland as Mimì, Andrei Danilov as Rodolfo, Luthando Qave as Marcello, Mia Karlsson as Musetta, Kristoffer Töyrä as Colline and Hannes Öberg as Schaunard.

The young Italian conductor, who is conducting Puccini’s immortal masterpiece for the first time, is at his Göteborgs Operan debut. He is however already a well-known name in Sweden, having conducted Rigoletto, Carmen and La traviata, as well as a New Year’s Concert Gala, at the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm, also inaugurating the 2022/2023 season of the Gävle Symphony Orchestra.
