On July 26, 2025, Ekaterina Bakanova takes the stage at the Dogana Veneta in Lazise (Verona) for a recital at the renowned Garda Festival, accompanied by pianist Emanuele Savròn. Titled “Folies d’amour”, the program highlights her extraordinary versatility, featuring works in no fewer than six languages, from Italian opera arias (Anna Bolena, Otello, Gianni Schicchi) to Czech gems, Austrian operetta, Russian romances, French chansons, and Spanish canciones.
The Russian-born, Italy-based soprano will then appear at the renowned Verbier Festival as the soprano soloist in Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 14, followed by her return to the role of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, opening the season at Seville’s Teatro de la Maestranza. Her schedule continues with another iconic Mozart heroine: she will sing the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste.
